FAV BOOK + OOTD: FLOWY MAXI SKIRT

Image
Hello internet friends, how is everyone doing?  I hope everyone is doing great~ :D  I'm back for another outfit post but before that I wanna share with you one of my favourite book and that is...  The Art of Communication II by Taiwanese author Kevin Tsai; otherwise known as Cai Kang Yong.  Well, I chanced upon the first book a couple of years back on playstore and decided to give it a read. Yeah I know... I didn't even own a physical copy of the first book back then but I'm glad he decided to release a part II to it and I managed to get my hands on it.  Speaking/talking/communicating is something that we do everyday but we put very little thoughts to it because we don't know the art to it. I know I'm not exactly good with words but somehow or another, I realised that the importance of communications is key to building good relationsips and doors to more oppotunities. To be good with words is a virtue and I'm sure that we all know some people in our ...

Baby, it's cold outside.

On a night like this, I lit up my favourite candle, listen to the raindrops tapping on my window pane while I cosy up in my warm bed writing this post. So glad that I managed to make it home in time from my night jog before the rain started pouring. Oh these little things makes my day. A cup of hot chocolate would be perfect tonight.  Anyway, I wanted to share some of the souveniers that I got from 3 different people who travelled out of the country last month. 1) A hand made bracelet & heart-shaped keychain (Godfather's recent trip to Eastern Europe) The cute bracelet was something special that he picked out from along the streets during Easter Day and the key chain was from Budapest. Looking at his pictures 2) Postcard & coaster from Melbourne A classmate went to Melbourne recently and he visited most of the places that Running Man filmed during their trip there. Saw a couple of familiar places that I've visited when I was a kid and it brought back so m...

OOTD:  Black laced tee and colored jeans from Dorothy Perkins . Heels by Edge from Zalora . Pony bag from BKK .  There was a phase in my life where I kept going for skinny jeans & jeggings and eventually I grew out of that. I guess there is no particular style that I stick to, I used to love dresses but I learned to appreciate skirts and now my current obsession is the maxi skirt.  I used to wear pants a lot  (those were the size 20 days) because I really loved how convenient it is. I was day-dreaming about wearing something comfortable but not too casual, that's how I remembered the existence of this purple skinny jeans and I went to dig them out to see if it still fits.  Besides the waist area being a tad too loose, everything else fits. Wore a laced top with the pants to give a touch of femininity and to complete the look I threw on a pair of heels which I got from Zalora.  Matchy toe nails with the heels....

Sweater Weather

Image
Back when the weather was chillier, throwing on a sweater was the best to keep warm. Paired this $4 light grey top from the morning market in Bangkok with my ASOS-Club L bubblegum skater skirt.  Outfit details:  - Light Grey Sweater : BKK morning market (right below Glow Pratunam)  - Skater skirt in Bubblegum : ASOS - Club L  - Hot pink satchel - Comoditee Gold - Black platforms - Charles & Keith  School is officially out and I am so free now. Call me a weirdo, but I kinda miss having assignments. But seriously, what is school break without going overseas for a vacation? It sucks to not be able to travel during long school break. But for now, my part-time job and 9 seasons of Criminal Minds are taking over my life. On days that I'm not working, I'd most probably be stuck at home having a Criminal Minds marathon. To put it simply, I don't have a life.  I've also been noticing that my blog has unusually gaining ...

April is the month that I turn twenty two. What remained the same is only my relationship status,  I'm pretty sure I'm a different person that I used to be. Happiness used to be everything but I have higher expectations of myself now. Of course, I wouldn't trade my own happiness for anything else but there are things that I believe is more important now.  At 22, I won't even ask for much. I am just grateful that the people whom I cherish dearly are still here with me. Their existence is the greatest gift for me.  Not forgetting readers who constantly leave me a comment on my blog, be-friended me on Facebook and liking my photos on Instagram. I wanna say THANK YOU! Thank you for taking the initiative and thanking you for wanting to know me.  Contrasting to last year's lavish dinner party, I didn't exactly planned for my birthday this year. I was so busy mugging for my exam and I simply couldn't be bothered. I even thought of staying home to finish ...

Brand New Day

Image
Happy April's Fool Day!  This year I was smart enough to not get fooled but still it doesn't kill to have a bit of fun. Jenfrmheadtotoe posted a March favourites video which was reviewed by her cute dog Oreo~ In my mail box, Zalora released their "Boys Over Flowers" summer florals newsletter and Cassey Ho from blogilates introduced her newest invention, the " Eat Clean Sponge ". Hahaha, I really appreciate the entertainment.  Last year, Google tricked us with Google Nose Beta and many of my friends actually believed it. It's amusing to watch them sniffing my phone away. But seriously, if Google Nose were to happen, it would be the coolest thing ever.  This year, Google Map released a pokemon challenge. Those who managed to catch all 150 Pokemon would be offered a new job in the company as a "Pokemon Master". It's pretty cool for a job tittle but do you really believe that it's true? Anyway, that game was so addictive that I ...

Anyone into the maxi skirt craze yet? I am currently going CRAZY over maxi skirts, till the extend that I went to buy another one with a different colour from what I'm wearing now. I totally cannot contain my eggcitment to wear my lovely maxi skirt out again once the weather gets dryer at my side of the globe.  For a shortie like me, a pair of heels is a must when in a maxi, if not I would be ending up sweeping the floor with my skirt. I used to refrain myself from wearing skirts that goes over my knees, because I feel that long skirts would mess up my body proportion visually and I have every  potential to trip over my skirt (Clumsy Clarie) . I'm so glad that I finally overcame this 'height-restricting-my-clothes' crap by not being lazy and that is to pair it with shoes that give me a little more height.  Anyway the reason why I love maxis is because my skirt would sway to the movement when I'm walking and it makes me feel like a princess. But most i...
