[Style Me Up] Baseball Game Day Outfit

Image
As the baseball season kick started in April, I'm sure fans of the game have already rush to catch the game live. When watching a live game, it would be fun to wear something in support of the team you're rooting for. Be it the official jerseys or even wearing colors that represent the team. However, if jerseys and sweatshirts are just not your thing, what should you wear? The best bet would be starting with something small- to accessorize with a hat from favorite team. Thankfully for Fanatics, there's a wide selection of designs for hats to choose from as well as sports apparel & even autographed merchandises! This makes it so much easier to gear up for your game. This outfit is for the girly girls (like me) who aren't used to clad yourself entirely in sportswear, you could still support your favorite team by wearing a the official snapback and be girly at the same time. Layering a light-washed denim jacket over a simple white dress balances the femin...

Outfit details: Hat (H&M) // Earrings (Lovisa) // Top & Skirt (New Look) // Heels (Everbest) // Handbag // Toscano  Happy Lunar New Year folks~ It's the season that you get to indulge in tidbits and have a great feast and catch up with your family & friends, among all there's also the unavoidable distant relatives who would shoot you a couple of  awkward questions. This year, I had two relatives who wished for me to get a boyfriend soon. Haha. Thanks but I just laughed it off like I always did. Comparing to previous year, I've been so complacent in putting together outfits for this occasion. Perhaps I'm just wasn't feeling it. Funny how I recalled saving some new pieces from my past shopping trip but it ended up not being good enough and my shipment from ASOS couldn't arrive on time. I ended up frantically hunting for new clothes a week before the day. For all of my outfits, I went for dark hues with a pop of color. ...

If you came into my heart.

Outfit details:  Black tank top // New Look  Jeans // BKK  Blazer // Dorothy Perkins  Heels // Zalora  Bag // BKK Hairband // Colette by Colette Hayman " If you came into my heart, then I would stay next to you." It's amazing how I could finally fit into these jeans that were long forgotten. This would be my first attempt in layering in this hot & humid weather. Well, I managed to keep my blazer on the whole despite being so whiney about the heat. All because I was wearing a tank-top and I just couldn't bear my flabby arms. Anyway I just received a notification on Lookbook that somebody upvoted my comment. Haha. I never knew what this means or how it worked until someone upvoted me. Haha. This shows how unfamiliar I am with LB. Haven't owned any blazer yet even though I know that it's a staple in every girl's closet so I decided to invest in this one. Blazers are so nice to work with when you're in a col...

Brand New Day

Image
Happy April's Fool Day!  This year I was smart enough to not get fooled but still it doesn't kill to have a bit of fun. Jenfrmheadtotoe posted a March favourites video which was reviewed by her cute dog Oreo~ In my mail box, Zalora released their "Boys Over Flowers" summer florals newsletter and Cassey Ho from blogilates introduced her newest invention, the " Eat Clean Sponge ". Hahaha, I really appreciate the entertainment.  Last year, Google tricked us with Google Nose Beta and many of my friends actually believed it. It's amusing to watch them sniffing my phone away. But seriously, if Google Nose were to happen, it would be the coolest thing ever.  This year, Google Map released a pokemon challenge. Those who managed to catch all 150 Pokemon would be offered a new job in the company as a "Pokemon Master". It's pretty cool for a job tittle but do you really believe that it's true? Anyway, that game was so addictive that I ...

Happy Lunar New Year to all of you, lovely readers. I hope you guys collected red packets and had yummy goodies to your fill. Here's my outfit that I put together for Day 1 of Chinese New Year.  Pastel mint top (Dorothy Perkins)//Pastel pink midi skirt (Dorothy Perkins)//Pony bag (Far East Plaza)//White belt (BKK; Platinum Mall)//Statement necklace (Platinum Mall)//Mickey & Minnie flats (BKK)  You can see for yourself how magical Bangkok is judging from the number of accessories that I'm wearing in this outfit. My love for Dorothy Perkins started during the days that I'm a UK 20 and even now I can't seem to quit my love for it.  The moment I stepped into the store, I set eyes on this pastel pink midi skirt immediately and when I saw the pastel mint top, I knew these 2 were just perfect for each other. I wasn't having any intention to buy because I was under the impression that given my height, any skirt that goes below my knees would made me look eve...

Would you gallop away with me?

Image
Now if you're wondering, I got the tittle from my introduction on Instagram. Was inspired by some ancient drama and I thought that horse-riding is the most romantic thing to do. So... Would you gallop away with me? ;)  Horses are one of the sexiest animals ever.  My outfit consists of:  Grey jacquard shirt that I have over-worm (Dorothy Perkins)  Pink houndstooth skirt that is a little too oversized for me (ASOS)  Neon pink pony bag that is higly useless but I still love it so much (BKK)  Thick black belt (Dorothy Perkins)  If you have the eyes of eagles, you could tell that I experimented with mixing prints here. Jacquard over houndstooth. It makes sense because the colour of my jacquard top makes it more subtle to go with the loud noticeable houndstooth skirt. My armcandies:  OPI E74 You are such a Budapest  Dream bracelet (Lovisa)  Pastel sweet trinkets (BKK)  Love gold bangles (Tom, Dick, Harry) ...

Give me some magic or a time turner.

Fell in love with the pony bag at first sight and I knew I had to get it right away.   What I wore 2 weeks ago.. . White Cold Shoulder Top (Dorothy Perkins)  Mint skater skirt (H&M)  Pony bag (Blogshop)  Watch (Gmarket)  Statement necklace (Dorothy Perkins)  Arm candy (Lovisa)  Basic white tees could be boring and a cold shoulder t-shirt would be an altervative. Just like everyone else, I get self-conscious about certain parts of my body too. For me, it would be my arms and I'd usually steer clear of sleeveless tops to hide my flaws. A cold shoulder top would be suitable if you want to be bold but at the same time not wanting to reveal too much. I paired this outfit with my trusty Everbest pink ballet flats for an outdoor concert and rocked my night away. Comfort level 100 and that makes this outfit totally concert appropriate.  Now, time turner, bring me back to 19th October 2013 will you?  XOXO,...
