April - my birthday month. I had my share of fun and happiness just by exploring new places, catching an outdoor concert and creating healthy bites. Well, that's just my perception of having a good time.



Keong Saik Street

The iconic Dong Ya (it's read from right to left) building on Keong Saik Street is one of the most Instagramed photo in Singapore. I've always appreciated architecture, especially pre-war buildings because it certainly adds character to our modern metropolis Singapore.
Along the street, you can then find a cafe Banana Tree to have some flower potted desserts or maybe even sip on dreamy cotton candy lattes.

Healthy Bites 

I may be obsessed with health food but it's not possible to eat clean every single day when I'm not home most of the time! On weekends, I'd try out healthy food recipes to just have better ideas of what I can prepare for breakfast on a weekday. Here's health bites from last month, baked avocados with eggs and Greek yogurt topped with mangoes for dessert. I'll post up recipes soon~


The Unexpected guest and the common house guest of April.

I never thought there would be love at first sight with a baby but I guess that how it is with this cutie. She's the easiest and fuss-free baby I've ever seen. She lets people carry her and she's always smiley and cheery the whole time. Definitely stole my heart the moment I saw her. Then there's my BFF who I've spent quite some days together with during April hanging out at my place.

It's M A Y D A Y, BABY!

Mayday had been my ultimate favourite band for years but I haven't had the chance to attend their concert.  After watching almost all of Mayday's concert online last year, I told myself I need to experience that and if they were to come to Singapore I have to watch them. And whoohoo, my wish was answered!  So, I bought tickets to watch the Now&Here World Tour @ Singapore Indoor Stadium  That was my first time watching a concert  (JYJ's showcase is not counted because it isn't a full length concert.), and I just couldn't contain my excitement. I've been looking forward to this day ever since I booked the tickets in February.  The crowd at Singapore Indoor Stadium  I'm so glad that Sharlene and I share the same interest in the same band! ✈ Bangkok  To more adventures ahead... ๐Ÿ“Siam  Nearest BTS: Siam For all of my past trips to Bangkok, our home base never left Pratunam. Pratunam is a fabulous place to stay when your primary focus is for hardcore shopping at Platinum Fashion Mall, Krung Thong plaza and its morning market. A little fyi for y'all shopaholics, Glow & Centerpoint Pratunam are my top hotel choices for that area. For this trip, we made Siam Novotel our home base and boy oh boy do I love this location so damn much. There's so much to do, shop and eat without having to travel far. A great line-up of massage parlors across the hotel, the surrounding of shopping malls,  BTS station right at its door step, bustling night market and wide array of delicious Thai eateries & restaurants to taste. Busy Bumble Bee.

Hello! I'm back again after a week of intense revision for mid-terms for law. How have everyone been? This week had been hectic because of all the revision that I had to do, I hardly have time to sleep or even watch my favourite T.V shows. :S But all was good this week.. This was what I've been up to for the week. So thankful that the test went pretty well and I'm so done with it! Nail of the Week! If you know me well enough you'd know that I do manicures and pedicures myself. My favourite brand of nail polish is O.P.I even though I do use nail polishes from other brands as well. O.P.I will always be my ultimate favourite. These two colours are my current favourites and I've used the pink one consecutively two weeks. Left: NL M14 (I'm All Ears) & NL Z19 (Glitzerland) Both the colors are so beautiful that I couldn't make up my mind which to use. So I used both colors on the hands. Outfit of the week!
