Outfit details: Top (Bangkok) // Skirt (ASOS) // Boots (Wanda Panda) // Socks (Bangkok) // Pony clutch  Femininity is my style. The color combination, ruffle sleeves, and the slight peek of frilly socks from the boots are the best statement of femininity in this look. I even painted my lips pink to match the look. I don't know about you but I'm pretty much that kind of girl who matches her lipstick color with rest of the outfit. I'd always wear pink lips when I wanna feel cute, red for sexy or coral because neither pink nor red matches the outfit. It sounds silly but I do it all the time! A nude ruffle sleeves top is super fun to work with because it goes with absolutely everything. Sadly, I accidentally ripped a small part of the sleeves when it got caught on the door handle. Ever since then, I've been on a hunt to find something similar in hope to replace this piece. But after months of trying, I still couldn't find anything that comes close to this. So...

Spring Vibes x Floral

Image
Outfit details: Basic top (H&M)//Floral Pants (Dorothy Perkins)//Heels (New Look)//Blazer (Dorothy Perkins) It was Mother's Day last Sunday, how was your celebration with your momma went? This year, to give my mom a memorable Mother's Day I went an extra mile to give surprise her, turns out that she liked her surprise so much that she starts crying happy tears. Haha. She's emotional like that, but I'm just glad that she found it useful!  Pieced together this outfit as it reminded me colors of spring time. Floral pants are a challenge and it sure is difficult for anyone to pull off. I remembered how I always wanted to find floral pants that wouldn't look like a set of PJs. This watercolor printed floral were just the ones I've been looking for. Well, I think the material is the key for your floral joggers to not look like pajamas. A soft and drapey material gives it a less structured look that is why it keeps  reminding you of those comfy ...

Life in Squares: A P R I L

Image
April - my birthday month. I had my share of fun and happiness just by exploring new places, catching an outdoor concert and creating healthy bites. Well, that's just my perception of having a good time. Keong Saik Street The iconic Dong Ya (it's read from right to left) building on Keong Saik Street is one of the most Instagramed photo in Singapore. I've always appreciated architecture, especially pre-war buildings because it certainly adds character to our modern metropolis Singapore. Along the street, you can then find a cafe Banana Tree to have some flower potted desserts or maybe even sip on dreamy cotton candy lattes. Find my post HERE Healthy Bites  I may be obsessed with health food but it's not possible to eat clean every single day when I'm not home most of the time! On weekends, I'd try out healthy food recipes to just have better ideas of what I can prepare for breakfast on a weekday. Here's health bites from last m...

[Style Me Up] Baseball Game Day Outfit

Image
As the baseball season kick started in April, I'm sure fans of the game have already rush to catch the game live. When watching a live game, it would be fun to wear something in support of the team you're rooting for. Be it the official jerseys or even wearing colors that represent the team. However, if jerseys and sweatshirts are just not your thing, what should you wear? The best bet would be starting with something small- to accessorize with a hat from favorite team. Thankfully for Fanatics, there's a wide selection of designs for hats to choose from as well as sports apparel & even autographed merchandises! This makes it so much easier to gear up for your game. This outfit is for the girly girls (like me) who aren't used to clad yourself entirely in sportswear, you could still support your favorite team by wearing a the official snapback and be girly at the same time. Layering a light-washed denim jacket over a simple white dress balances the femin...

[我相信! 醉心龍虎榜街頭爆唱會 Live In Singapore] I'd probably gonna remember 2015 as a year of great concerts. I had Ed Sheeran last month and then in April, I have Magic Power x Della x Jia Jia in Singapore for a joint concert, hosted in collaboration with BinMusic & our local radio station. The lineup itself is already enticing and what makes it even better is that it's FREE. The best things in life comes free to us, ain't it? I've been to past shows by Magic Power before and I absolutely love their energy. Well in Asian context, besides Mayday, Magic Power has got to be one of my favourite bands. Don't even get me started on the last time my friends and I coincidentally met them but didn't get to ask for a photo. I could go on and on for that. Read it HERE ! It's my first catching Della and Jia Jia perform live and I've been waiting all night for them to sing my favorite songs. Their songs are often paired up with TV serials, so if you're familiar...

Life in Squares : March Edition

Image
A summary of my Instagram feed in March. A little bit of indulging in good food, outfit of the day as well as concert experience.  1. Follia Italian Restaurant  On days that I wanna have an exquisite meal, I'll visit my favorite lunch spot - Follia Italian Restaurant. You can find set lunches but if that's for you, they have a variety to choose from the a-la-carte menu. Appetizers are a huge deal for me, I feel that for a restaurant to create an impression, at the very least they MUST have good appetizers. For starters, mushroom soup is one that I use it as a gauge. It's a simple dish but I've tasted disappointment. (Restaurants serving instant Campbell soup is just a big no) . I love my soup to be richly flavored, with chunky bits of mushrooms added for taste.  Imagine my happiness when I found my ideal mushroom soup at Follia~ I'm so going back again one of the days.    2. Arteastiq Mandarin Gallery has pretty cool restaurants/cafes. I've...
